E-BANKING

DEFINITION:
E-banking allows customers of a financial institution to conduct financial transactions on a secure website operated by the institution, which can be a retail or virtual bank, credit union or building society.


THE FEATURES:


  1. viewing account balances 
  2. viewing recent transactions 
  3. downloading bank statements, for example in PDF format 
  4. viewing images of paid cheques 
  5. ordering cheque books 
  6. Funds transfers between the customer's linked accounts 
  7. Paying third parties, including bill 
  8. Investment purchase or sale 
  9. Loan applications and transactions, such as repayments of enrollments 
  10. Financial institution administration 
  11. Management of multiple users having varying levels of authority 
  12. Transaction approval process
